Best Places to Wear Kimono

Kyoto – Arashiyama and Higashiyama

The bamboo grove, Kiyomizu-dera, and the stone-paved streets of Ninenzaka look incredible in kimono. Hundreds of rental shops near these areas offer full packages from 3,000-8,000 yen including dressing, hair styling, and accessories.

Tokyo – Asakusa
